Vladimiro Giacché is Head of the General Affairs Unit of Sator S.p.A.. He is also Secretary of the Board of Directors and member of the Audit Committee ex D.Lgs. 231/2001 of Sator S.p.A.

He is also Chairman of News 3.0 S.p.A. and Head of the Internal Audit Units of Arepo BP S.p.A. and of Sator Immobiliare SGR S.p.A.

He will be Responsible for the Sator Ethical Fund (to be established).

Formerly, from 2006 to 2007, he worked at Capitalia S.p.A. as Head of the CEO’s technical staff, organizing and overseeing the research and reporting activities for the top management of the holding company and managing media and institutional relations.

Prior to this, from 1995 to 2006, he worked at Mediocredito Centrale, as Head of the Human Resources Development Division (until 1997), later becoming Assistant of the Chairman and Deputy Head of the Research and External Relations Division (1997—1999). In 1999, he was named Head of the CEO’s technical staff of Banco di Sicilia (at the time controlled by Mediocredito Centrale). Later, from 2000 to 2006, he served as Head of the Internal Auditing Department of Mediocredito Centrale and also, from 2002 to 2003, as Head of the External Relations Department ad interim.
He was board member of Agitec S.p.A. (1999-2006). Since 2000, he is member of the Italian Association of Internal Auditors.

Before joining Mediocredito Centrale, Vladimiro Giacché worked at RAI as director of the TV program “Multimedia Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences”.
Vladimiro Giacché published several books and essays on economic and philosophical matters, as “Finalità e soggettività. Forme del finalismo nella Scienza della logica di Hegel” (CNR 1990), “La filosofia. Storia e testi” (co-authored by G. Tognini, La Nuova Italia 1996) and “Storia del Mediocredito Centrale” (co-authored by P. Peluffo, Laterza 1997), “Escalation. Anatomia della guerra infinita” (co-authored by A. Burgio and M. Dinucci, DeriveApprodi 2005), “La fabbrica del falso. Strategie della menzogna nella politica contemporanea” (DeriveApprodi 2008). He translated into Italian and edited the Marxian writings on crisis: K. Marx, Il capitalismo e la crisi (DeriveApprodi 2009). Many of his papers have been also published in collections and on Italian and foreign journals.

He studied at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa and at the Ruhr University of Bochum (Federal Republic of Germany), and he received a BA and Ph.D. cum laude from the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa.
