Carmine De Robbio is Chairman of the Audit Committee ex D.Lgs. 231/2001 and member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Sator S.p.A..

He is Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Arepo BP S.p.A. and Sator Immobiliare SGR S.p.A.. He is also member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Banca Profilo S.p.A..

Formerly, from July 2002 to July 2007, he was Head of the Internal Audit Division at Capitalia, where he also served as member of the Audit Committee ex D.Lgs. 231 and as secretary of the Internal Control Committee.

Prior to this, from October 1992, he was Director at Banca di Roma, responsible for the Internal Control Division and later, from January 1995 to December 1997, also for the Organisation and Operations Division, serving as board member in several participated companies (e.g. Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura, S.S.B., T.P.S., INA Banca, Datamat).

In January 1998, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of Banca di Roma, in charge for the Internal Control Division for the bank and the whole Group, until the establishment of the new holding company, Capitalia S.p.A..
Carmine De Robbio started his career in Banca d’Italia, the Italian Central Bank, in 1963, and from 1972 he joined the Internal Audit Division, where he worked until reaching the position of High Inspector, contributing to many important and complex audit verifications concerning primary national and international financial institutions.
He organised, managed and teached in many training courses on supervisory and advisory matters for public bodies and institutions (among others the Parliament Inquiry Committee, the ISVAP – the Italian Supervisory Body on Insurances, and Judiciary).

Carmine De Robbio retired in July 2007.

In January 2008, Banca d’Italia appointed him provisional manager of Banca di Credito e Risparmio di Forlì S.p.A., under receivership, later (March 2008) entrusting him also the office of Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors.
He received a BA in Law and holds the qualification of Italian certified Auditor.
