Attilio Di Cunto is board member of Sator S.p.A..

Since August 2003 he is Chief Administrative Officer of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation, and since September 2006 he is also board member of Sansedoni S.p.A. where, from October 2003 to June 2006, he served as Deputy General Manager.

Prior to this, from February 2001 to July 2003, he held several positions in the Financial Advisory industry, at first in Arthur Andersen Mba Srl (February 2001-October 2002), in the Financial & Commodity Risk Consulting Division, later in Deloitte Business Consulting, in the Enterprise Risk Services Division, in charge for asset management advisory services for Institutional clients (SGR, Insurance Companies, Foundations and Pension Funds).
Before joining Arthur Andersen, Attilio Di Cunto worked at INA S.p.A. and INA SGR S.p.A., from July 1997 to March 2000, being involved in re-organising the investment and risk management processes, in charge for market risks evaluation and for the SGR participation to call for tenders regarding Pension Funds and Banking Foundations asset management; from April 2000 to January 2001, he worked in Generali SGR, in charge for market risks evaluation and management as well as for the Institutional clients segment and for the SGR participation to call for tenders regarding the provision of Pension Funds asset management and custody services.

Since January 2004 he is member of the Accounting and Statistical Commission of ACRI.
He received a BA cum laude in Economic and Banking Sciences from the University of Siena and a Master’s degree in Economy of the Agricultural System from “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” (Milan). He served as Professor and teaching assistant in several Italian universities, as those of L’Aquila and Siena, and at the “Università del Sacro Cuore” in Milan.
