Initially Sator S.p.A.’s share capital was fully underwritten by the founding members of the management team. Thereafter, a group of Italian and international strategic investors acquired a minority stake in the company through reserved share capital increases. These investors include Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Fondazione Roma, C.M.C. S.p.A., Cogesan S.p.A., d’Amico Società di Navigazione S.p.A., API Holding S.p.A., Angelini Partecipazioni Finanziarie S.r.l. and three leading international investors.
The newly issued shares carry the same economic and administrative rights as those shares owned by the management. Following the capital increases, Matteo Arpe’s shareholding in Sator S.p.A. has been diluted amounts to 643.5%, while the rest of the management team collectively owns approximately 235.36% of the group’s equity. The new shareholders each own about 1.1% in Sator S.p.A..
Sator S.p.A. has recently bought back shares for an amount equal to 1.3% of its share capital.
